The Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast is a two-day event, bringing together Jewish and Christian political, business, and religious leaders. What is so unique is that Israeli government approached the Evangelical community and proposed a joint prayer breakfast to be held in Jerusalem — something never before done.
Their foal was to foster better relationships between Jews and Christians.
Due to the pandemic, the event has been held on-line for the past two years. The COVID has proven to be a blessing in disguise. What began five years ago with a “live” meeting of about 600, was viewed by 1.5 million this year!
Praying together, having a meal together and true, heartfelt sharing together, by both Jewish and Christian alike, united in their love for Israel, will surely bring on the blessing of God.
The speakers for this past year included the now-former president of Israel, Reuven Rubi Rivlin, the former Speaker of the Kenesset, Yuli-Yoel Edelstein, Ann Graham Lotz, the daughter of Billy Graham, Mike Pompeo and one of our favorite, Rabbi Yehuda Glick.
With new leadership ascending upon Israeli, Christian delegates from around the world confirmed their unwavering support for God’s people and God’s land.
The JPB has an expanded vision. Since its origin, Prayer Breakfasts have been held in major cities of the world, seeking to promote support for Israel and encouraging countries to move their Embassy to Jerusalem. Our success has been amazing, affecting such countries as Honduras, Bosnia and the Netherlands.
Harvest Fellowship International is privileged to be a small part of this anointed ministry. Pastor Rick serves on the Advisory Board and participated at the ‘ground-floor.’
Please pray for our leaders: Robert Ilatov, Albert Veksler and Michelle Bachman that they will continue to be led by the wonderful Ruach Ha-Kodesh.
