Dove Christian Fellowship International

Harvest Fellowship International is a member of Dove Christian Fellowship International (DCFI). This year, DCFI is celebrating its 40th Anniversary. The word ‘DOVE’ is an acrostic for ‘Declaring our Victory Emmanuel.’

Begun as an outreach to young people, the vision was simple: pray, reach the lost and make disciples. Using Friendship Evangelism and informal get-togethers with a serving heart, the initial group quickly grew – then evolved into a Church. After ten years, the fellowship numbered two thousand with 100 small groups.

In 1996, the one, large Church de-centralized into eight, small-group-based Churches in Pennsylvania, USA, plus Congregations in Kenya, Uganda and New Zealand. What began as a single Church, today has grown to over one thousand world-wide.

Headquartered in Pennsylvania, United States, DCFI is strongly committed to the New Testament principles of Evangelism, Discipleship, Church Planting, Missions, Small Groups and Spiritual Parenting.

We believe the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is essential for all Christians and that the five-fold gift ministries (EPH 4:10) and the nine gifts of the Spirit (I COR 12) are present-day realities.

From its inception, the unity of the Body of Christ has been high priority for DCFI. We understand that many other branches of the Church Universal have the same goal: to reach the world for Christ. Led by an International Apostolic Council, DCFI continues this quest in a spirit of cooperation – not competition.
